Oftentimes, you may find yourself answering emails about information that is readily available inside your knowledge base but somebody didn't bother to look or just could find it. For those cases and many more, you can count on the KBAnywhere extension with AI-enabled on your source to craft nice and informative email replies that you can directly send or apply just a few edits saving you ton of time to tackle more during your workday.

Here is how you can use the KBAnywhere extension inside Gmail to automatically write email replies.

First, you need to have your knowledge base source connected and AI-enabled using OpenAI.

Once you have those prerequisites, open your Gmail inbox and find an email that is awaiting your reply or simply compose a new email to try it out.

You will find a new magic wand icon next to the "Send" button. Clicking on it will display a small box where you can prompt the AI on what email you would like written - you can type just "Provide a reply" if it is an email reply or describe in more detail what information should get included from your knowledge base if writing a new email. Click on the "Compose" button and wait for the AI to respond. The email that has been written will get auto-populated into the message area of your email.

Adjust as necessary if necessary and send. If you have multiple knowledge bases connected and AI has been enabled on all of them, you can also choose which one you would like AI to use for reference.

This is how easy it is to start answering your repetitive customer support requests now with AI and your knowledge base.
